ENUGU REP., CHUKWUOBASI URGES OTHER GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATES TO ACCEPT DEFEAT AND SUPPORT PETER MBAH TO  DELIVER ON HIS PROMISES

Honorable Johnson Chukwuobasi, representing Awgu South Constituency, has appealed to other Governorship Candidates in Enugu to accept defeat and support the Governor-elect, Barrister Peter Mbah, in driving the change yearned for in Enugu state.

Hon. Chukwuobasi made the appeal through a press release made available UgamaTv, while saluting the Enugu state Governor-elect, Barrister Peter Mbah on his victory at the polls.

“To your co-contestants, I also congratulate them for putting up a strong fight. However, it is time to retreat. I urge you all to accept the result with fortitude and congratulate your brother, especially as he has extended hands of fellowship.

It does not matter how long we try to hesitate and fault the outcome of any contest, at the end, one winner must emerge. In this case, you are all brothers and It is the will of God at this time that Barr Peter N Mba will emerge. Let us support him to deliver on his promises to Ndi-Enugu. “

He reaffirmed confidence in Mbah, noting that he has no iota of doubt in his ability and capacity to engineer positive change and deliver on his promises to the people Enugu.

“From the day you clinched the PDP ticket to run for the office of the governor of Enugu State, you have relentlessly ran your campaigne on issues that have empirical connection with our plights as a people. Therefore, I have no iota of doubt in your ability and capacity to drive the change we yearn and have voted for.”

He further urged residence of Enugu to unit in building the state to a greater height.

“As for us Ndi-Enugu, we have just signed our own column of the contract paper, I am sure our dear governor-elect is grateful. The other column is left for him to complete and in appreciation, we shall continue to return our solidarity to his government. ” He stated.
