The People democratic party (PDP) Awgu local government Chapter has constituted the campaign council for the September 21st, 2024, Local government council elections in the State
This development is sequel to the Order of the Enugu State High Court in the case between Aninri LGA and ENSIEC on the 27th of August 2024, compelling the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) to move the Local government election to September 21st, 2024
Recall that The Local Government Council Election was previously scheduled for the 5th of October 2024.
The campaign council was inaugurated Wednesday, August 28th, at the Villa Toscana Hotels Enugu.
The campaign council has Hon. Okay Nathan Udeh as the Director general
