*Enugu at 34: Awgu Council Chairman Hails Gov. Mbah’s Transformative Leadership

As Enugu State marks its 34th anniversary, the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uche Okolo, has extended heartfelt felicitations to ndi Enugu, describing this milestone as a testimony of God’s faithfulness, resilience, and collective progress as a people.

Speaking through his Special Adviser on General Media and Publicity, Hon. Tochukwu Chukwu, the Chairman commended the sterling leadership, empathy, and visionary drive of the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, whose two years in office have given the Coal City a new face of hope, infrastructural rebirth, and human-centered governance.

Hon. Okolo highlighted the Governor’s achievements in transforming education, healthcare, agriculture, youth empowerment, and job creation, as well as boosting the state’s GDP through investor-friendly policies. He stressed that Governor Mbah’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and service to humanity is a divine mandate, affirming that “Governor Mbah is truly God-sent to ndi Enugu.”

The Awgu Chairman further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to complementing the Governor’s transformational agenda at the grassroots level, where Awgu LGA has already witnessed remarkable progress across vital sectors.

Concluding his goodwill message, Hon. Okolo prayed for continuous blessings upon the state, declaring:
“As we celebrate Enugu at 34, may God’s grace abound, may our unity grow stronger, and may the visionary leadership of Governor Peter Mbah continue to take our dear state to enviable heights. Happy 34th anniversary to Ndi Enugu!”
