Toby Okechukwu for his impeccable service to his people while in office while also assuring them that things will continue just as it was during his own time with the new person representing them.

“We want you to take back anything we say here to the people at home, we know that Hon. Toby Okechukwu is leaving office soon, but my assurance to you all is that the good things you were enjoying from him will still continue with Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu here even after he have left. All you have to do is to vote for PDP on the 28th of February and the 11th of March and be rest assured that Enugu will keep being better than it already is now”, Ngwu said.

In an interview with Lolo Nnenna Okoye, the Special Adviser to the chief whip of Enugu state house of assembly, Hon. Jane Eneh, she explained the strategy they were going to use to vote during the upcoming election saying “our strategies are very simple, we are not voting parties we are voting individuals. No matter the party you are in as long as you are qualified and know what leadership and representation is all about, you will go in. Party is just a name, we look at the content of the individual, what they are going to do and what they are doing currently.

Speaking on the credibility of PDP she said “PDP is a political name in Enugu state from 1999 till date. PDP have made a lot of people, and our strong belief is that we are going to deliver this year again, because our candidates are tested and trusted”.

Barr. Eze. O. Eze, a PDP member while speaking to UGAMATV described PDP as the only party that can save Nigeria from what APC have thrown them into, saying “we are old forces in the race with the experience of having been in government in Enugu for over 23 years. Nigerians have seen that we are the people who are supposed to rule them, because since we left Aso rock in 2015, cost of living skyrocketed, security became bad and inflation have eaten up everything. I believe that when PDP comes back into power we will discover better ways of doing things. We will take into consideration the feelings of Nigerians, especially those in the rural areas.
