Former Nigerian diplomat and international political analyst, Joe Keshi, has lambasted the way the Federal Government is handling the Christian persecution debate, lamenting that it lacks empathy and poor communication.

Keshi stated this on Wednesday while featuring in an interview on Arise Television

He stated that the government’s response, especially through some of its spokespersons has worsened public mistrust and tarnished Nigeria’s image internationally.

“In a crisis period like this, the first constituency the president should speak to is the Nigerian people.

“The president has not spoken to us, and his spokespersons just come out and say whatever they like,” he said.
