COURT VICTORY: ADC ENUGU SALUTES DAVID MARK, AREGBESOLA, HAILS JUDICIARY

Says Judgment Reaffirms Rule of Law ,  Commends Atiku for Appointing Kenneth Okonkwo as Spokesperson

 

The Enugu State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has congratulated former Senate President David Mark and the National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, Rauf Aregbesola, following their victory in the judgment delivered by the Federal High Court in Abuja.

The chapter described the court’s decision as a significant victory for democracy and the rule of law, saying it reinforces public confidence in the nation’s judicial system and democratic institutions.

In a statement signed by its Caretaker State Chairman, General Chris Eze, the Enugu ADC commended the judiciary for what it described as its courage, independence, and commitment to justice.

According to the statement, the judgment, delivered against Leke Abejide, is another clear demonstration of the judiciary’s unwavering resolve to uphold constitutional principles and protect democratic values.

“The judgment is a triumph for justice and a reaffirmation of the judiciary’s indispensable role as the guardian of democracy and the rule of law,” the statement noted.

The chapter also expressed appreciation to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for appointing Kenneth Okonkwo as his spokesperson, describing the appointment as a commendable decision that reflects confidence in capable leadership, strategic communication, and effective public engagement.

The statement was signed by General Chris Eze, Caretaker State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Enugu State Chapter.
