Breaking: Enugu lawmaker flags off empowerment program, empowers  100 youths and women 

The lawmaker representing  Awgu south state constituency, Hon.Johnson Chukwuobasi Okwudilichukwu  has  empowered 100  youths and women  of his constituency as part of efforts to make them self-reliant.

He also empowered three different women groups in the constituency including, ugwueme global women initiative, enyemaka nwanne women Mgbowo and Ikeanumba foundation

This is the first stage of the empowerment, according to the lawmaker which drew beneficiaries from  different wards in  Awgu South constituency of Enugu  State.

The program, which empowered 50 youths and 50 women in skills and trade such as petty  trading like fresh food sellers, foodstuffs,  provisions stores,shoemakers in the Community is geared toward eradicating poverty.

Hon Chukwuobasi, had before the empowerment taken to his social media and other news outlets  to announce the programme, saying: “I am beginning the first batch of my youth and women empowerment programme tagged ” Hon. Johnson youths with skills and  trade program” .
