The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially confirmed Major General Chris Eze (Rtd) as the authentic Chairman of the party in Enugu State, while unveiling fresh guidelines for the purchase of nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In an official notice issued by the ADC Media Team, Enugu State Chapter, the party disclosed that the endorsement was ratified by the National Working Committee (NWC), describing the development as a significant milestone in strengthening the party’s leadership structure in the state.
According to the statement, the formal inauguration of Major General Chris Eze (Rtd) alongside other recognized state chairmen across the country will be announced by the national leadership in due course.
The party also informed aspiring candidates seeking elective positions under the ADC platform that nomination forms for Presidential, Governorship, Senate, and House of Representatives positions would be available at the ADC National Headquarters located at Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Abuja.
Similarly, nomination forms for the Enugu State House of Assembly are to be obtained at the ADC State Secretariat along Ogui Road, Enugu.
As part of efforts to encourage broader participation in the democratic process, the ADC National Headquarters reviewed the nomination fees downward.
Under the revised structure, the Presidential form costs N90 million, Governorship N30 million, Senate N10 million, House of Representatives N5 million, while the State House of Assembly form is pegged at N2 million.
The party advised interested aspirants and members of the public seeking inquiries or verification to contact the State Administrative Secretary, Mr. Okey Agu.
Reaffirming its commitment towards the 2027 elections, the Enugu State chapter declared that the party remains united, organized, and focused on its mission.
“ADC Enugu State remains united, organized, and ready for 2027. No distraction. One structure. One mission,” the statement read.
The notice concluded with the party’s slogan: “ADC Arise and Shine.”
