Beyond the Rumors: Chude Jideonwo’s Startling Claim About Lagos’s Gay Population

Popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo, has claimed that Lagos State is full of married gay people.

Chude made the claim while reacting to speculation about him being gay following one of his interviews with TVC.

Speaking in a snippet of his latest appearance on The Clarity Zone Podcast, he also raised alarm over ritual advertisements on social media.

While lamenting the rate at which people engage with ritual adverts, Chude narrated his experience.

“Abi them say people are advertising rituals on TikTok. Ritual is advertised on TikTok. Native medicine, I have seen three people advertising, and people are engaging. One of the women was living from her shrine. And people were like, Mama, how can I reach you? with a phone number.

“When the TVC interview came out, people were saying maybe I’m gay. I’m like Lagos is full of married gay people,” Chude stated.
