“Being at peace is better than war” – Actress Angela Okorie apologises to Mercy Johnson and Senator Ned Nwoko

Actress Angela Okorie is taking a new tone after weeks of online tension. In a heartfelt post shared on Instagram today, she opened up about her recent reflections and issued public apologies to Mercy Johnson and Senator Ned Nwoko.

Recall Angela had previously accused Mercy Johnson of being seriously ill, and also dragged Regina Daniels and her husband Ned Nwoko online.

Now, Angela says she has taken time to reflect and regrets letting emotions get the better of her.

“I speak from the heart, especially when I feel hurt… but I realise now that my utterances, whether from pain or not, were hurtful,” she said, addressing Mercy directly and asking for forgiveness.

She also extended an apology to Senator Ned Nwoko, acknowledging that her public reaction to what she called an “unprovoked attack” came from a bad place and wasn’t respectful.

“I deeply regret my actions and am sorry,” she wrote, adding that she had once been part of the senator’s political campaign and attended his family events.

Angela also revealed she’s been facing betrayal, lies, and online smear campaigns, but says she forgives everyone and is choosing peace.

“Being at peace is better than war or fight,” she concluded.
