Bandits release five more students of Bethel Baptist School in Kaduna

Bandits have released five more students of Bethel Baptist School, located in Chikun Local Government of Kaduna state. 

Rev Israel Adelani Akanji, President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention confirmed the release of the students on Friday night. Out of 121 students abducted from their school hostel on July 5, 2021, only four students are still in the kidnappers’ den.

Akanji said; 

“Glory be to God. Five of our Bethel Baptist High School students and the Matron (Making 6) have just been released to us this evening, October 8.

“We thank God and trust that the remaining four students will also be released. Thank you for your prayers and support.”
