APC is a Cancer”, Lamido Warns, Urging ADC to Adopt Deeper Strategy

Former Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, has described the All Progressives Congress, APC-led federal government as cancer.

Lamido said the African Democratic Congress, ADC-backed opposition coalition, needs to slow down and focus on strategies that would enable them to remove the APC cancer in 2027.

The former governor, who spoke while appearing on Arise Television’s Prime Time on Tuesday, Lamido said the ADC is full of sprinters.

“Let them look inward and keep connecting with people quietly so that by the time they come out in full force the energy will be there.

“I think there is too much rushing, there are too many sprinters there, they should slow down and look at issues in a deeper way, so that they will be able to remove this cancer called APC,” he said.

Lamido stressed that he can’t leave a big party for a small one, hence his decision to remain in the PDP.

The ADC is currently constituted by a lot of high ranking politicians from across the political divides in the country.

Despite its latest leadership crisis, the ADC has vowed to ensure that President Bola Tinubu-led APC does not return to power in 2027.
