U.U Cheson Investment Company, (West Africa) Limited have completed and delivered a world class hostel of over 400 capacity to the Enugu state government.
The company which is known for its largest Asphalt Producing plant in South East, with investments in oil and gas sector as well as construction and engineering, handed over the student hostel at Enugu State College of Education Technical to the state government, during the officially commissioning of the building.
Handing over the edifice to the Enugu state Ministry of works and infrastructure, the CEO U.U Cheson Investment Company, (West Africa) Limited, Chief Uche Nzekwe, said that the 120 rooms hostel is ultra modern with facilities such as running water, power supply, wardrobes and executive conveniences.
Commissioning the project, the Director Architectural Service, Enugu State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Ikechukwu Udejiofor, said that the hostel is one of the legacy projects of Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, which will address the accommodation challenge facing the institution.
Also speaking, Mazi Obiora Okereke commended Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for keeping to his promises up to the time of exiting office, noting that Peter Mbah-led administration will consolidate on Ugwuanyi’s achievement.
