A handful of Nigerian Afrobeats superstars have earned nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards, with the official shortlist released on Friday evening.

Davido and Omah Lay were recognized in the Best African Music Performance category for their collaboration “With You.”

Also in the same category are Burna Boy’s “Love,” and “Gimme Dat” by Ayra Starr and Wizkid, alongside entries from other African artists.

Burna Boy, who already holds a Grammy Award, also secured a nomination for Best Global Music Album with his project “No Sign of Weakness.”
