60 KILLED AS BOKO HARAM MEMBERS ATTACK COMMUNITY IN BORNO

At least 60 persons have been killed in a fresh attack by Boko Haram members in Faduma Koloram village in Gubio local government area of Borno state on Tuesday, June 9.

According to reports, the sect members stormed the village in gun trucks and motorcycles, shooting sporadically.

“They got into the village around 12:15pm and the first place they attacked was Zowo ward at Faduma Koloram. They accused the people there of spying on them and vowed to teach them lessons. Virtually all the houses in the community was torched.” a source said

The source added that when some persons who managed to escape returned to the village hours later, they met their houses in ruins.

This attack on Faduma Koloram comes barely 24 hours after the sect members attacked another community in Borno.
